Senior Financial Accountant

Job Summary
The incumbent is accountable for treasury function with the major role in cash flow management/ planning. The job scope also extend to internal control of the company which include the co-ordination of self-audit program and ISO compliances. The incumbent is expected to be independent to liaise with bankers, corporate internal audit and treasury department and relevant authorities.

Job Responsibilities

1. Overseeing the daily operation of treasury :

• Cash flow management – to ensure excess cash is generated with the maximum returns.
• Verify payment to vendor prior to release for authorization.
• Review and approve employee claims.
• Liaise with bankers on all banking matter.

2. Forex hedging  :

• Monitor the forex rate fluctuation by providing forex forecast for decision making.
• Work with corporate closely to obtain best forex rate from bankers.

3. Establishing banking facilities :

• Liaise with bank to obtain the new facilities
• Vetting banking document / agreement with corporate legal
• Process documentation for approval.

4. Internal Control (Self-Audit)

• To conduct self-audit according to the corporate internal audit program.
• To coordinate the quality program / ISO for the company :
• Periodic review and assessment of the Enterprise Risk Management
• Ensure compliance of Anti Bribery & Corruption Management System for the yearly surveillance audit.
• Drive implementation of other compliances / ISO program which is related to financials.

5. Manage overseas company payment and administration.
   6. Liaise with bankers, corporate treasury/internal audit / legal and relevant authorities
6. Any other duties required by immediate superior or management.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): enterprise risk management, treasury function, anti bribery & corruption management system, accountant / finance manager portfolio.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Jelapang.
• Preferably Managers specializing in Finance – General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
• Full-Time position(s) available.
