Business Development Role in Overseas

Job objectives:

This position is accountable for business development, meeting sales targets, growing customer base & carrying out related activities which also include customer service & liaising with the factory and potential customers for assigned portfolio. As a sales oriented personnel and agrees to devote your full time and best efforts to soliciting sales in the territory or territories to be determined by the Company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Establish sales objectives by forecasting and projecting expected sales volume for existing and new accounts both short term and long term
• Develop new customer base and relationships.
• Establish field sales action plans.
• Manage customer commercial requirements.
• Respond to customer sales, logistic and technical enquiries where applicable. You are responsible to present commercial and technical material to all hierarchical levels.
• Provide an interface between the customer and senior management.
• Report customer business and market developments.
• Conduct customer review meetings on all aspects of their business.
• Prepare and support presentation material.
• Undertake market surveys.
• Involve in commercial sales functions and to provide support with customer service.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Keep in pace with customer roadmaps and continuously update factory.
• On par with suppliers technology development on material and equipment.
• From time to time, you are required to attend weekly meeting with your superior.
• Any other duties assigned by immediate superior and management.

Education Level and Field of Study:

Minimum degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Working Experience:

At least 5 years in business development experience and minimum of 3 years engineering experience in semiconductor industry

Technical and Professional Knowledge:

• Knowledge in business development
• Sound knowledge in semiconductor assembly processes.
• Sound knowledge in semiconductor related equipment
